The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has urged the public to remain vigilant of financial fraud conducted using documents related to the institution.
Issuing a special notice, the CBSL stated that several fraudulent businesses are being conducted using the bank’s official logo.
The CBSL stated that it has been observed that these fraudulent businesses are being conducted through various social media platforms.
Stressing that the bank has no connection to any such fraudulent business, the CBSL urged the public not to fall victim to such fraudulent activities.
