The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) under the Ministry of Labour is calling applications from qualified citizens of Sri Lanka for the position of Director General.
The institute was established under the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Act No.38 of 2009.
🎓 Educational Qualifications
Applicants must possess a degree recognized by the UGC in one of the following fields:
- Medicine
- Engineering
- Occupational Safety & Health
- Ergonomics
- Physical Science
- Biological Science
- Management
- Commerce
- Environmental Science
Higher qualifications such as a PhD will be considered an advantage.
💼 Experience
- Minimum 17 years of professional experience
- At least 05 years experience in Occupational Safety & Health policy
- Minimum 05 years at Senior Management level
OR
- Relevant Degree + PhD
- Minimum 05 years Senior Management experience
🎂 Age Limit
- Minimum age: 35 years
- Maximum age: 55 years
Maximum age limit does not apply for internal candidates.
