Applications are invited from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Director General at the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) under the Ministry of Labour.
The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health was established under the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Act No.38 of 2009.
🎓 Required Educational Qualifications
- Degree recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
- Relevant fields include:
- Medicine
- Engineering
- Occupational Safety & Health
- Ergonomics
- Physical Science
- Biological Science
- Management
- Commerce
- Environmental Science
💼 Experience Requirements
- Minimum 17 years experience after obtaining the degree
- At least 05 years experience in Occupational Safety & Health policy practice
- At least 05 years experience at Senior Management level
OR
- Relevant Degree with PhD qualification
- Minimum 05 years experience at Senior Management level
🎂 Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 35 years
- Maximum Age: 55 years
Maximum age limit will not apply for internal applicants.
