The Department of Immigration and Emigration has announced that passport services will be suspended / restricted for three days in view of the 2025 Local Authorities (Government) Elections. According to the department, the 24-hour service for one-day passport issuance will be suspended on 05, 06, and 07 May. The department further said that other services will be restricted during this period. The Local Government Election is scheduled for 06 May 2025.
